Association Membership
The organisation(s) or person(s) eligible for various classes of membership of the Association shall be as follows:

Corporate Members
Any organisation or association representing any groups of persons or businesses carrying on its business or trade in Zimbabwe, such a member may be conferred with Corporate membership.

Affiliate Members
Any organisation or association representing any groups of persons or businesses engaged in any branch of trade and commerce within Zimbabwe may apply to become affiliate members of the association.

Honorary Life Members
At any Annual General Meeting, the NEC may propose any number of persons to be elected by the majority of the members present at such meetings as honorary life members.

Ordinary Members
Those who do not meet any of the above specifications will be considered as Ordinary members.
Mandate
The National Industrial Fire Control Association (NIFCA) is a non-profit making organization established in 1992 for the purpose of helping the industry to promote fire safety and to be adequately prepared for fire and related emergencies.
NIFCA is an affiliate member of the Civil Protection Unit and the director of the Department Of Civil Protection under the Ministry of Local Government is its patron.
The activities of NIFCA are concentrated in the private sector being among other things; fire prevention advocacy, fire safety promotion, fire incident management, fire research and human resource development.
